Hey guys, Daku here!
I am a lifelong aquarium hobbyist from South Florida with a deep-rooted passion for aquatic plants, freshwater fish, shrimp, as well as providing my ever-growing community with the tools and inspiration needed to thrive in this wonderful hobby! My fish and shrimp are homebred in my 150+ tank fish and shrimp rooms. I also offer a wide variety of aquatic plants, all of which are homegrown or locally sourced; in addition, I offer top-quality Bucephalandra which are imported directly from Indonesia!
I have been an aquarium hobbyist all my life. I started out with an interest in breeding freshwater fish and shrimp, and have spent many years working on my various lines of Ram Cichlids, Medaka Ricefish, Neocaridina Shrimp, and other nano species!
In my opinion, aquatic plants are a must when it comes to freshwater aquariums. I am just as passionate about plants and creating beautiful planted tanks as I am about breeding fish and shrimp! If you couldn't tell, my favorite plant is Bucephalandra! I am an avid collector and importer of the species, always bringing in a wide variety to share with my community!
I love this hobby, community, and the business that I've grown from it. I am dedicated to the continuous mastery of my craft, and supplying high quality plants, fish, and shrimp to all of you who support me in what I do!

So far, about two weeks now, this plant is looking and doing great.
A very healthy portion of subwassertang. Ive been hearing daku talk about subwassertang on youtube so thought i would give it a try.
The package has various different types of botanicals, perfect for breeding smaller fish and making your tank look like what you would find in nature. It was perfect for me because I like to mimic nature as much as possible with my aquariums.
These plants came in healthy, well packaged and with great root development. This is my first time with this plant and I love it. Great addition and creates almost like a kelp forest that is easy for the fish to swim through. Looks awesome.
Every plant I receive from Daku Aquatics appears to have been grown with incredibly attention. When someone loves what they do, the product and service always benefits and this is a perfect example. Thanks Daku, I truly appreciate having you as a resource.

Healthy shrimp and a great assortment! My “Skittle” Neocaridina arrived active, colorful, and in excellent condition. I’m very happy with the variety I received, and they settled in beautifully. Great experience with Daku Aquatics — I would definitely order again!
