Care Tips

Tank Size: Minimum 5 gallons, but larger is better for groups

Water Parameters: pH 6.5–8.0, Temperature 59–85°F (15–29°C)

Diet: Omnivorous; enjoys high-quality flakes, micro pellets, and live/frozen foods like daphnia and brine shrimp

Behavior: Active and peaceful; best kept in groups of 5 or more

Breeding: Readily breeds in captivity; females lay adhesive eggs that attach to plants or surfaces
