Catappa Bark

3 pieces of bark per order.

These bark pieces are commonly use as decoration and food for shrimp and some fish!  Just like the Catappa leaves, they are high in tannins and will stain your water!

They enhance biofilm growth and release small amounts of tannins, they also provide antibacterial and antifungal properties in your water creating a more natural ecosystem for your tank’s inhabitants!

To sink faster, bring them to a boil (2-3 minutes) then let soak for 1 day or so before using.
