- Tank Size: Minimum 5 gallons, with more space for larger groups
- Water Parameters: pH 6.5–7.5, Temperature 72–78°F (22–26°C)
- Diet: Omnivorous; enjoys high-quality micro pellets, flakes, and live/frozen foods like daphnia and baby brine shrimp
- Behavior: Peaceful but shy; thrives in groups of 6 or more
- Breeding: Egg scatterers; provide fine-leaved plants or spawning mops for breeding success

I am extremely satisfied w/ the CPDs I purchased from Daku. They arrived at my home early the morning after I placed my order. Per the provided instructions, I acclimated the CPDs and introduced them to their new tank. After a few hours they ate their first meal and have been eating and growing since. I am very impressed with their personalities, health, appetite, growth, and color. I truly appreciate the quality of the livestock Daku has carefully raised and shipped to me.
