Cholla wood provides a natural hideaway for your shrimp. It is a great grower of biofilm for them to graze on too!
This is a great wood to tie mosses or epiphyte plants to – like Ferns, Anubias, or Bucephalandra.
Pre-soak them in a bucket of dechlorinated water for a few days so they sink before using them! If you boil them they will break down much faster.

I love the way this looks in my tank. I have a betta and did glue small rocks in the each end so he wouldn't go inside and get trapped.

Great product for neocardina shrimp, they love to hang out on and in these. Works as lovely decor and enrichment for the little guys. They LOVE to chew down the soft wood and biofilm as it decays. Pieces came in good conditon, about 4-5 inches in length, no damage or chipping. They do tend to float initially so plan to soak prior to adding or providing some kind of weight to keep it down until it no longer rises. Overall great product, very happy, and recommend for anyone keeping shrimp or any other tiny invertebrate ✅
