These are commonly use as decoration, natural hideouts, and fish caves for cave spawning fish like Plecos and Apistogramma!

They enhance biofilm growth and release small amounts of tannins, they also provide antibacterial and antifungal properties in your water creating a more natural ecosystem for your tank's inhabitants!

Pre-soak them in a bucket of dechlorinated water for a few days so they sink before using them!  If you boil them they will break down much faster.
