Cryptocoryne Pink Flamingo is a stunning and rare variant of Cryptocoryne known for its unique pink to reddish hues. This plant adds a bold pop of color to any aquascape, making it a favorite among aquarists looking for something unique. Like other Cryptocorynes, it is relatively slow-growing but becomes a striking centerpiece or accent plant in a well-maintained tank.

Key Features

Rare & Unique Coloration: Beautiful pink to reddish tones that stand out in any aquascape.

Compact & Slow-Growing: Ideal for foreground or midground placement.

Hardy & Adaptable: Can tolerate a range of water parameters once established.

Great for Aquascaping: Provides contrast against green plants for a visually striking layout.

Care Tips

Lighting: Prefers medium to high lighting for best coloration.

CO₂ & Fertilization: CO₂ supplementation is not required but can enhance growth and intensify coloration. A nutrient-rich substrate and regular fertilization help maintain its vibrant pink tones.

Temperature: Thrives in 72–82°F (22–28°C).

Water Conditions: Best in a pH range of 6.0–7.5 with soft to moderately hard water.

Planting & Growth: Grows best in a nutrient-rich substrate. Avoid sudden parameter changes, as Cryptocorynes can experience "Crypt melt" before regrowing.

Maintenance: Minimal pruning required; allow time for it to establish and adapt to its environment.
