Cryptocoryne Spiralis 'Tiger' is a unique and visually striking Crypt known for its long, slender, and slightly twisted leaves with distinct tiger-like striping. This hardy, slow-growing plant makes an excellent midground or background addition to freshwater aquariums, adding texture and movement to the aquascape. Like most Crypts, it thrives in a variety of conditions and is well-suited for both beginners and experienced aquarists.

Key Features

Tiger-Striped Leaves: Beautiful, textured patterns enhance aquascapes.

Slender, Twisting Growth: Adds a natural, flowing aesthetic.

Hardy & Adaptable: Tolerates a wide range of water parameters.

Great for Midground & Background: Perfect for filling vertical space in tanks.

Ideal for Fish & Shrimp Tanks: Provides shelter and natural grazing surfaces.

Care Tips

Lighting: Low to moderate lighting encourages steady growth; higher lighting may enhance color variations.

CO₂ & Fertilization: CO₂ is not required but can improve growth and vibrancy. Regular fertilization with root tabs is beneficial for strong root development.

Temperature: Thrives in 68–82°F (20–28°C).

Water Conditions: Prefers a pH range of 6.0–7.5 and soft to moderately hard water.

Planting & Growth: Best planted in nutrient-rich substrate. It may experience initial "Crypt melt" but will regrow stronger once established.

Maintenance: Minimal pruning required; allow it to spread naturally for a lush, jungle-like effect.
