All fish shipping will default to UPS Next Day Air at check out.  I only ship fish overnight.  If your daytime temps are in the mid-90s or higher, or nighttime temps are in the mid-40s or lower, your order will be delayed or refunded for the safety of the fish. 

The German Blue Ram is a stunning and peaceful dwarf cichlid prized for its vibrant blue, yellow, and black coloration, along with its graceful finnage. This small yet striking fish adds a dazzling splash of color to freshwater aquariums and thrives in well-maintained, warm water conditions. Known for their intelligent and social behavior, German Blue Rams do well in community tanks with other peaceful species.

Care Tips

  • Tank Size: Minimum 10 gallons per pair
  • Water Parameters: pH 6.0–7.5, Temperature 78–85°F (26–29°C)
  • Diet: Omnivorous; enjoys high-quality pellets, flakes, and live/frozen foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp
  • Behavior: Generally peaceful, but territorial during breeding
  • Breeding: Forms monogamous pairs; prefers flat surfaces for egg-laying
