These pods are commonly use as decoration and food for shrimp and some fish!
They enhance biofilm growth and release small amounts of tannins, they also provide antibacterial and antifungal properties in your water creating a more natural ecosystem for your tank’s inhabitants!
To sink faster, bring them to a boil (2-3 minutes) then let soak for 1 day or so before using.

Berkovic I’m very happy with my purchase. Tip: if they float at first, soak them in a bucket (I added a little BacterAE for a few days to build biofilm before adding to the tank) — they’ll settle in and provide great hiding spots and extra grazing area for your shrimp.
