CO₂ & Fertilization: CO₂ is not required but can encourage faster, denser growth; liquid fertilizer, root tabs or a nutrient-rich substrate can help promote healthy growth
Temperature: Thrives in 68–82°F (20–28°C)
Water Conditions: Adaptable to a wide range of aquarium conditions, generally preferring slightly acidic to neutral water
Planting & Growth: Separate into small portions and plant throughout the foreground; new runners will gradually spread into surrounding areas
Maintenance: Trim or thin established growth as needed to maintain the desired shape and encourage a neat carpet
