All fish shipping will default to UPS Next Day Air at check out.  I only ship fish overnight.  If your daytime temps are in the mid-90s or higher, or nighttime temps are in the mid-40s or lower, your order will be delayed or refunded for the safety of the fish.

Care Tips

  • Tank Size: Minimum 5 gallons, but larger is better for groups
  • Water Parameters: pH 6.5–8.0, Temperature 59–85°F (15–29°C)
  • Diet: Omnivorous; enjoys high-quality flakes, pellets, and live/frozen foods like daphnia and brine shrimp
  • Behavior: Peaceful and social; best kept in groups of at least 5–6
  • Breeding: Easy to breed in captivity; females lay adhesive eggs that attach to plants or surfaces
