Each botanical and leaf combo pack will have a mix of my small leaves, pods, and other botanicals that fit nicely in tanks anywhere from 3 to 20 gallon tanks without ruining the sense of scale. This pack will be enough for 2-3 tanks with a similar look as the picture. These are the same botanicals I use in all my Ram breeding tanks!
They enhance biofilm growth and release small amounts of tannins, they also provide antibacterial and antifungal properties in your water creating a more natural ecosystem for your tank’s inhabitants!
Pre-soak them in a bucket of dechlorinated water for a few days so they sink before using them! If you boil them they will break down much faster.
A wonderful selection of botanicals at a reasonable price, they look wonderful in my shrimp and betta tanks, I am obsessed with the look of leaf litter in aquariums along with tannin stained water, after watching Daku's videos on Facebook, I was thrilled to see the same botanicals from the videos for sale on his website. I got about 3/4 of a gallon bag full of botanicals. I was expecting to probably get a lot of Indian almond leaves that I wouldn't care for (I have PLENTY of those right now), but thankfully it did not take up a large portion of the contents. It seems like I got a little bit of everything in the bundle, and the size of the botanicals is perfect for small tanks like mine. I love the unique botanicals I have never seen or heard of before, and it will look awesome in my aquarium when I get around to adding some!
