The Pseudomugil Luminatus, commonly known as the Neon Blue Eye or Blue-Eye Rainbowfish, is a small, striking freshwater fish native to northern Australia and New Guinea. These fish are known for their vibrant, shimmering blue eyes, along with their slender bodies and subtle, iridescent colors. They are peaceful, active swimmers that make an excellent addition to community tanks, offering both beauty and liveliness. Their peaceful demeanor and easy care requirements make them perfect for aquarists of all experience levels.

Care Tips

· Tank Size: Minimum 10 gallons

· Water Parameters: pH 6.5–7.5,
Temperature 75–82°F (24–28°C)

· Diet: Omnivorous; enjoys high-quality flakes, micro pellets, and
live/frozen foods like brine shrimp and daphnia

· Behavior: Peaceful and social; best kept in schools of 6 or more

· Breeding: Egg scatterers; prefers calm, well-planted tanks with
soft water for spawning
