- Lighting: Low to moderate lighting is suitable; higher lighting may encourage more compact growth.
- CO₂ & Fertilization: CO₂ is not essential but will support more vigorous growth; use liquid fertilizers and root tabs to promote healthy development.
- Temperature: Prefers water temperatures between 72–82°F (22–28°C).
- Water Conditions: Thrives in a pH range of 6.0–7.5 with soft to moderately hard water.
- Substrate & Planting: Does well in nutrient-rich substrate, but can also be anchored to rocks or driftwood.
- Trimming & Maintenance: Minimal trimming is required; remove damaged or older leaves to maintain a clean appearance.
- Propagation: Propagates via cuttings; simply cut the plant and replant the segments.
